Raul Di Blasio - Musica Fantasa

Raúl di Blasio (born 1949, in Zapala, Argentina), is an Argentine pianist.
Raúl di Blasio showed a great interest in piano at the age of six. After his parents' recommendations that he should study music, he began to pursue piano as a career.
Di Blasio practiced piano alongside his teachers for more than four years. Having difficulty in purchasing a piano, he also relied on readily available sources of music such as whistling with his father, which helped develop the sort of melodies he employs in his work.
This was the beginning of di Blasio's career in music. He had early formation in the Classic Technique, but he equally enjoys popular music. He admits that when he was 17 years old he was part of the rock movement with phenomena such as The Beatles. However, his parents asked him to pursue university studies and have a degree-based career in his life.
The next step for him was to leave his hometown and go to Buenos Aires, where at age 20, he began practicing music 12 hours straight per day. He comments: "I felt the wings on my fingers".
Di Blasio is someone who thrives on constant change in his life. At the age of 27 he recognized that something different was going on with him personally. Feeling a surge of energy and hyperactivity, he decided to move to Chile, where he began playing traditional music, Rock, and Classic Notes. He composed his own melodies and worked as a pianist in a bar, confessing he scraped by to survive... but that he was happy.
Two years later someone suggested that he produce an album, which he accomplished with his own resources. The production did not have enough success, however. Then, a producer from the record company bcs-s in Chile contracted with di Blasio and his second album was born. This album included Latino-American music.

Di Blasio has made duetes with Alejandro Fernandez, Jose Jose, Armando Manzanero, Marco Antonio Muniz,Yolandita Monge, Julio Iglesias, Rocio Durcal, Juan Gabriel, Michael Bolton, Los Tri-o,José Luis Rodríguez "El Puma", Christian Castro, Vargas de Tecalitlán, Jose Feliciano, El Concorcio, London Symphony Orchestra, Fernando De La Mora , Wendy Pedersen, and more

La 40a de Mozart

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart , full name Johann Chrysostom Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart[1] (27 January 1756 – 5 December 1791), was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical era. He composed over six hundred works, many acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic, concertante, chamber, piano, operatic, and choral music; and he is among the most enduringly popular of classical composers.
Mozart showed prodigious ability from his earliest childhood in Salzburg. Already competent on keyboard and violin, he composed from the age of five and performed before European royalty; at seventeen he was engaged as a court musician in Salzburg, but grew restless and traveled in search of a better position, always composing abundantly. Visiting Vienna in 1781 he was dismissed from his Salzburg position and chose to stay in the capital, where over the rest of life he achieved fame but little financial security. The final years in Vienna yielded many of his best-known symphonies, concertos, and operas, and the Requiem. The circumstances of his early death have been much mythologized. He was survived by his wife Constanze and two sons.
Mozart always learned voraciously from others, and developed a brilliance and maturity of style that encompassed the light and graceful along with the dark and passionate—the whole informed by a vision of humanity "redeemed through art, forgiven, and reconciled with nature and the absolute".[2] His influence on all subsequent Western art music is profound. Beethoven wrote his own early compositions in the shadow of Mozart, of whom Joseph Haydn wrote that "posterity will not see such a talent again in 100 years".

Louis Armstrong - What A Wonderful World

One of my favourites...

LouisDaniel Armstrong (August 4, 1901 July 6, 1971), nicknamed Satchmo or Pops, was an American jazz trumpeter and singer.

Coming to prominence in the 1920s as an innovative cornet and trumpet virtuoso, Armstrong was a foundational influence on jazz, shifting the music's focus from collective improvisation to solo performers. With his distinctive gravelly voice, Armstrong was also an influential singer, demonstrating great dexterity as an improviser, bending the lyrics and melody of a song for expressive purposes. He was also greatly skilled at scat singing, or wordless vocalizing.

Renowned for his charismatic stage presence and deep, instantly recognizable voice almost as much as for his trumpet-playing, Armstrong's influence extended well beyond jazz, and by the end of his career in the '60s, he was widely regarded as a profound influence on popular music in general: critic Steve Leggett describes Armstrong as "perhaps the most important American musician of the 20th century."

"What a Wonderful World" is a song by Bob Thiele (using the pseudonym George Douglas) and George David Weiss. It was first recorded by Louis Armstrong and released as a single in 1968, and was inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999.
Intended as an antidote for the increasingly racially and politically charged climate in the U.S. of everyday life. The song also has a hopeful, optimistic tone with regard to the future, with reference to babies being born into the world and having much to look forward to. The song was not initially a hit in the United States, where it sold fewer than 1,000 copies, but was a major success in the UK, reaching number one on the UK singles chart. It was also the biggest-selling single of 1968 in the UK. The song made Louis Armstrong the oldest male to top the charts, at sixty-six years and ten months old.

The opening lyrics read: I see trees of green, red roses too. I see them bloom, for me and you. And I think to myself... what a wonderful world. I see skies of blue, and clouds of white. The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night And I think to myself, what a wonderful world...

The song gradually became something of a standard and reached a new level of popularity. It was re-released in America shortly after Armstrong's death in 1971 and became a top ten hit. In 1988, Louis Armstrong's 1968 recording was featured in the film Good Morning Vietnam and was rereleased as a single. The single charted at number one for the fortnight ending June 27, 1988 on the Australian charts. It is also a jazz standard ranked number 945 at Jazzstandards.com.
